The service can run by dialling 01/02/0844 or 0871 numbers. If the former 01/02 ranges are used - then the school will be issued a small charge to provide the facility.
If the school uses an 0844 number, then the service is Free.
If the school uses an 0871 number, then the school will get paid 3pence per minute.

In a school of 250 children, if the number is rung once a week for 40 weeks and the message lasts around 5 minutes, the school will earn £1500 !!

We issue you with your own SchoolsCall Information Line Number - unique for your School

Callers dial the number and will hear a menu and general information about events etc. They can then press a digit on their phone to route the call into the right mailbox for their child's class.

If you want, at the end of the message, the parent or caller can leave their own message - which be immediately emailed to school's or teacher's email address as a voice-file. All you do is click on it and listen to what was said. We call that Voice2Email.

In short SchoolsCall Information 0871 earns money from telling the Parents what's happening.
While SchoolsCall Information 0844 offers the same benefits without the earnings.
